Use royal icing to create tasteful Christmas decorations on your cakes and cookies.
If you mix this cream with a few drops of food coloring, you can color and garnish your Christmas decorations and even get the children involved.
1 1/3 cup powdered sugar
1 egg white
Sift the powdered sugar than add the egg white and a few drops of lemon juice and stir.
Remember to stir the royal icing until it becomes thick; when the icing becomes difficult to remove from the spoon it is the right consistency.
Now you can let loose your imagination, adding color to cookies and cakes with royal icing.
You can add a sweet touch to your Christmas tree, making Santa Claus, snowflake and gift shapes, and also stimulate the imagination of children, who can literally taste the magic of Christmas!
